I think it's hilarious that people complain about the price of gas as they are sipping on their 5 dollar latte....

Who cares! The girl shows up to award ceremonies in full makeup with short backless dresses and no one bats an eye.  She has a, what i would call tasteful, photoshoot for Vanity Fair and Disney flips!?!?!  Has anyone ever thought that, if anything, Disney is worse for these upcoming teen idols than the idols themselves are for Disney?  See: Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Vanessa Anne Hudgens.

On the other hand, Disney can't bear all the blame.  Where are the parents?

There's a place in the mountains of Colorado where unattractive women successfully game men who would be considered "out of their league" anywhere else.  Is there a place like this where I can successfully game women out of my league?  The key word here: successfully.

Sheraton Hotels "Play Nice" Commerical

I'm sure everyone has seen the Sheraton commercial that has been playing throughout the NCAA tournament.  It shows interactions between fans of the big rivalry's in college sports at Sheraton Hotels.  Normally, these fans would spite each other, but when they stay at the Sheraton, they are "on the same team."  They get along.  The Michigan fan drops his bag in the lobby and the OSU fan picks it up for him; the UCLA chick holds the elevator for the USC fan and it goes on and on. 

Everything involves fans helping each other out INSIDE the hotel EXCEPT for the Duke/UNC fans who, for some reason, are stuck out in the rain.  The UNC fan extends his umbrella for the DUKE fan--all great right?  Wrong, the two guys that are out in the rain are minorities.  What, minorities can't stay at the Sheraton? They get kicked out of the Sheraton and are forced to stand out in the rain!  That's the message that I get. 

P.S.  I'm a white guy.

Super Bowl Commericals

The New York Giants' win over the New England Patriots was the most-watched Super Bowl ever. In fact, it was the second most watched TV program EVER!

I was blown away by the number of commercials Sunday night that weren't closed captioned. For example, ETrade. In the spotlight, on a huge national stage and you don't caption your commercials? You just missed out on reaching millions of deaf and hard of hearing individuals. What a waste!

FYI: Fox, charged $2.7 million for 30 seconds of advertising time during the game.
